July Boston Visit

Phew....I am exhausted!  We have been going, and going, and going....for weeks.  And it's all been fun! I have a ton of pictures to download and share, and I want to start with our trip to Boston.  JB was up in Boston for work for over a week, and Max and I flew up to meet him.  It was our first time traveling solo (without JB or a friend to help), and we did great!  Everyone on the plane told us how much they loved his babbling during the whole flight.  At least he wasn't screaming!

We stayed with JB's parents, and we had a great visit with Grandma and Bup.  I took over 300 pictures, and there are so many good ones I want to share.  Sorry for the overload!

Bup was on feeding duty.  Mmmm, yum!

Grandma had TONS of new toys for Max to play with, and she is always prepared with everything we need for Max when we come to visit---it's such a lifesaver!  We spent some time at the park across the street where JB used to play as a kid.  (Some things never change!)

JB was confused about why we were at the park.  He thought we were there for his band's photoshoot.

We had a barbecue at the house and visited with lots of friends and family while we were there.  It was extremely hot and sticky outside, so we ended up spending most of the party inside. It was great!

We finally got to meet Max's new buddy, Nolan.

We went into Boston one day and rode on the Swan Boats (a tourist attraction that I had never done on previous trips to Boston).  It turned out to be a beautiful day, and we enjoyed lunch in the city, a fun boat ride, and we visited with the ducks in the pond.

Family Shot (It was impossible to get a photo of all 4 of them looking at the camera.)

This is my absolute favorite picture I took that day.  Bup and Max taking a stroll through the Boston Common.

Look at those eyes----Swoon.

Daddy knows the tickle spot.

Max was sad to leave Boston, but we know we'll be back to visit again soon!
